Mar 4, 2000

I had an interesting suprise when I opened my email tonight.  I received a letter from an old friend of Annie's, named Elizabeth.  She's also an online journaller.  She's the one that inspired me to start 'My Life'.  More suprising, was the praise she gave to my work that I've done here.

I know that I am very spontanious with my entries, and that it's a little annoying for people to keep up on, when there may not be a new entry for almost a week.  Then suddenly, WHAAM!, there's two or three in a matter of the same amount of days.  All I can say to anyone who reads this is, it's my therapy.  I enjoy that you enjoy it, and everything, but it's still mine.  I don't want to come across like a lot of journallers do, and say 'hey, it's mine, so mind your own damn business!' or 'to hell with you'.  I just ask for patience.  That's all.  I have a very hectic life, and it's difficult for me to post entries as often as I'd like to.

What I'd like to also do in this entry is bring some attention back to the situation with my parents.  As of now, my mom has officially filed for desertion and abandonment, due to the fact that the sunofabich hasn't been home in months now.  Again, another reason for a lack of entries.  She needs someone to confide in, and that usually ends up being me.  Only problem is, it's usually at 3 or 4 in the morning, when I'm just getting home, and she's getting up for the day.

Anyways, she's been keeping up with this journal since the beginning, and has seen that it's made a positive impact on my life.  One morning, she decided to write some things of her own, and I'd like it very much if anyone reading this journal would please take a moment to read them.  I have them posted under my poetry section, also, for quick reference later.  They are very good, and very sad.  I was really impressed with her writing.  I read a lot of poetry, and I write quite a bit still (although getting it up on the site is another matter entirely!).  I just found something in her words that I think anyone could relate to.

These are they:

My Fantasy
Peter and I
