Well, it's been a few days, but I'm still alive (some would say unfortunately). Not really a whole lot happening in my life (as you can see, it's pretty mundane). Here's the rehash so far. I've been working my ass off all week. It's a good job, but I'm just not used to the type of work. I guess I shouldn't whine, though. It's good damn money! Yep, still single. Getting really fond of it, however. Mike, Justin, and I all went out to the local club Sat night. It's pretty kewl there, other than the fact that after 10pm, people are packed in like lemmings. See, usually we find a table on the balcony, invite a couple of friends to sit with us, and watch the other slightly chemically induced patrons make asses out of themselves. This time, it was a little different. I started talking to a bunch of people, some I knew, others I had never met before. I started taking in one Smurf's Blood after another (Sprite and a double shot of Blue Maui). Before I knew what was going on, I had no idea what was going on! I did meet a new gal that seems pretty interesting, and interested! :) Her name is Kendra. I got her #, and I called her last night, just to say hi. We only talked for about ten minutes, cause she has to work today. Then, after the bar shut down, the three of us stopped at Subway (thank god they're open till 3am). Two other gals that I've known for a few years were working, and I proceeded to make a complete ass out of myself. I guess it was a good night in all, though. I had 3 phone numbers and two addresses written on my pack of Marlboro Ultra Lights. I definitely need to do this more often! LOL It was really ironic, though. I went out with the guys, thinking about what's been going on this week, and worrying about my family problems, which haven't gotten any better. The last thing on my mind was going out to meet women. It usually works out that way, though, right? Now watch, though, next time, it'll be the same ol' thing. Sitting in a corner booth, nursing a drink like it was the last one in existence, hoping that the brunette I saw walk in won't notice me drooling while looking at her chest. Se la' vie. As always, Life is in the air......... |
