Entangled and entwined,
like a ball of string
wrapped in knots around
my heart.
It ties my thoughts
and emotions until
they are all just one
big knot floating
within my cranial
emptiness that
disappears every time
I reach out to
untie it, and the
harder I try,
the tighter the
knots become, and
the farther away
they go, until all I
see is the darkness,
and the knot of
indecision is
tied around my
sould, binding me
to reality
for all time.
